WTG Mobile App

The native mobile app (iOS and Android) of the work and travel platform, built with Capacitor so the same React codebase runs as a real app on both stores.

What it does:

• Gives users the full platform experience (jobs, routes, CV creator, coaching) on their phone
• Uses the phone's camera to let users upload photos directly (like for their CV or profile)
• Tracks location in the background for route planning and location-based alerts
• Sends push notifications so users don't miss updates
• Works with the phone's native share, clipboard, and file system features
• Delivers app updates instantly over-the-air without needing a store review, using Capgo

Notable features:

• Built once in React, shipped natively to both App Store and Play Store
• Background geolocation and background fetch for location tracking even when the app is closed
• Firebase Cloud Messaging for push notifications
• Native splash screen and adaptive app icons
• OTA (over-the-air) updates for fast bug fixes and small changes, with automatic rollback if an update fails to load
