The project
A set of profile pages for the Adventure Advisors at Work and Travel Guide, the team members who personally guide travelers through their working holiday in Australia. Each advisor gets their own URL with a story-style, full-screen photo slideshow.
What it does:
- One page per advisor, statically generated at build time from typed advisor data
- Auto-advancing photo slideshow with manual navigation and progress indicators
- An expandable info panel with a tagline, quick facts, and a longer bio
- Per-advisor SEO and OpenGraph metadata, so shared links show the advisor's name and photo
Notable features:
- Custom focal-point system (position keywords plus offsets) to control how each photo is cropped on any screen size
- Caption layout that measures available space and adjusts text length to fit
- Images served and transformed through Cloudinary
- A flag emoji polyfill so country flags render correctly on Windows
