WTG Farmer Funnel

A marketing funnel for backpackers in Australia who need farm work for their second-year visa. Visitors sign up for a free farm job guide and are sent into a WhatsApp community where the guide is shared.

What it does:

• Landing page that explains why farm work matters, how the process works, and what's included, with testimonials and social proof
• Opt-in modal asking for first name and WhatsApp number, with GDPR consent
• Thank-you page with a WhatsApp group invite, QR code, and a short explainer video

Notable features:

• Forms built with React Hook Form and Zod validation
• Leads sent to the company CRM through a TanStack Query mutation, with a single, delayed retry so a slow request does not create duplicate leads
• Lead source detected from UTM parameters (Meta Ads vs. Google Ads), with UTMs read from the URL or a cookie fallback and cleared after submission
• Meta Pixel lead events deduplicated with the server-side event ID, plus fbclid/fbc/fbp capture, all gated behind cookie consent
• Development mode simulates submissions so testing never creates real CRM leads
